What it is, and why it works.
Some slabs are past saving: heaved by roots, shattered by freeze-thaw, poorly poured or sinking on bad base. Tearing out and replacing is more work, but it also lets us fix what caused the failure, from base and drainage to thickness and joints, so the new slab does not repeat history.
We saw-cut, break out and haul away the old concrete, reshape the base, add reinforcement and pour a new stamped surface. Careful demolition protects your lawn, utilities and neighboring slabs. For Nashville homes with failed driveways and patios, a full replacement is often the only lasting solution.
