What it is, and why it works.
Spray-texture, also called knockdown, is applied with a hopper gun and lightly troweled to create a pebbly, grippy surface that stays comfortable on bare feet. It is a longtime favorite for pool decks because it is colorful, non-slip and quick to apply over sound existing concrete.
The look can be left as a soft sand or tinted in a range of colors, stenciled with borders or combined with stamped sections. It has a fine grip texture that stays cooler than dark surfaces, and we can adjust the texture to be gentler or grippier.

Not directly. We remove loose coatings and test adhesion first.
