Stamped Concrete Porches & Steps
Front porches, stoops and entry steps with the look of slate, brick or stone and the safety of a slip-resistant surface.
- Typical time: 3 to 6 working days
- Rise: About 7 in or less
- Handrails: Set to code
What it is, and why it works.
Entry steps and porches take more wear than any other surface and show up in every photo of your home. Stamped concrete gives them the look of a hand-laid slate stoop or an old-brick landing in a single poured piece, with risers that match, edges that stay crisp and a surface that does not loosen over time.
Steps are also where safety matters most. We build to code for rise and run, add proper handrail anchors and finish with a slip-resistant sealer. In Nashville's wet springs and icy mornings, good footing at the front door is worth planning for.

Porches & Steps: common questions
Can you replace my existing concrete steps?
Yes. We remove failing steps, rebuild the footing and pour new stamped steps. If the old steps are sound, an overlay can also give them a new look.
Do stamped steps need a handrail?
Most codes require rails above a certain height. We plan rail anchors into the pour so they are solid.
