Stamped Borders, Inlays & Medallions
Contrasting borders, bands and center medallions that frame a patio, driveway or courtyard and make it look designed.
- Border width: 6 to 24 in typical

- Typical time: Adds 1 to 2 days
What it is, and why it works.
A contrasting border is the picture frame of a stamped surface. A darker band in a different pattern defines the edge, ties to your landscaping and makes an ordinary rectangle look intentional. A medallion at the center, such as a compass rose, a monogram or a circular fan, gives a patio or entry court a focal point guests notice.
We create borders and inlays with stencils and multiple stamp patterns, color them with separate release agents and hand-detail the transitions. Whether it is a simple double border for a Nashville patio or a custom medallion, it is planned on paper first so the proportions are right.
